Description
The Brahma NDM31 37542003 combustion manager ensures stable and reliable operation of two-stage gas and liquid fuel burners with an intermittent cycle. Together with connected devices, it monitors flame combustion and interrupts operation when malfunctions are detected. Lockout reset is performed by pressing the restart button.
More about the Brahma NDM31 burner controller
The burner controller is equipped with a high-efficiency ignition transformer and an anti-interference filter. The flame is controlled using an ionization electrode or an FD photodetector. In the absence of a flame, the automation blocks further operation of the burner and stops the supply of fuel to the combustion. A manual reset is used to exit the safe shutdown state.
The controller's operation is based on microprocessor technology. Electronic and electrical components are reliably protected from shocks and temperature effects by a plastic housing. The degree of protection against electric shock, dust and moisture is achieved during installation.
Main characteristics and features
- application in two-stage burners with a fan and direct ignition;
- operation from a 220-240 V, 50/60 Hz power supply;
- intermittent cycle, controlled restart every 24 hours;
- self-diagnosis function to enhance safety;
- ionization control or using an FD sensor, depending on the type of burner;
- response time to threats (lockout) within 1 sec.;
- indication of operating states and lockout mode;
- built-in ignition transformer;
- EMC filter for suppressing electromagnetic interference;
- compact printed circuit board to reduce the size of the structure;
- varistor for protection against voltage surges;
- operating temperature range: -20...+85 °C;
- no dust/moisture protection, IP 00 class (implemented during installation);
- ease of installation and connection;
- mounting in any position.
NDM series burner controllers stop working when the voltage drops below 175 V until the network parameters normalize. Restart occurs automatically.
Scope of application
Brahma NDM combustion managers are built into forced-air burners. They ensure uninterrupted, efficient and trouble-free operation of heating, combined and steam boilers, fireplaces, heat generators, water heaters, furnaces, fireplaces and other industrial equipment.
