Description

The Brahma NDM31 37542004 combustion manager is integrated into two-stage gas or oil burners with intermittent operation. The built-in microprocessor ensures accurate control and safe operation of the combustion system. Model with manual lock reset.

More about Brahma NDM31

The Brahma burner automatic is equipped with a transformer for generating high-voltage and igniting the fuel. The built-in EMC filter suppresses electromagnetic interference.

The automation provides control of ignition and all stages of combustion. Flame presence is registered by an ionization electrode or an FD photodetector. In case of unsuccessful ignition attempts of the fuel mixture or flame extinction during burner operation, the combustion manager blocks further operation and stops fuel supply to the combustion. Exiting the safe shutdown state is done manually.

The microprocessor and electrical components are protected by a compact housing made of impact-resistant plastic. The level of protection against electric shock, dust and moisture penetration is achieved during installation.

Main characteristics and features:

  • for equipping burners with a fan and direct ignition;
  • operation from a stationary network of 220-240 V, 50/60 Hz;
  • intermittent cycle, controlled restart every 24 hours of operation;
  • standard version without a thermostat;
  • flame control by ionization electrode or using an FD sensor;
  • response time (lockout) within 1 sec.;
  • indication of operating states and lockout;
  • self-diagnosis function for increased safety;
  • built-in ignition transformer;
  • EMC filter for suppressing electromagnetic interference;
  • connectors for quick and reliable electrical connection;
  • small size of the printed circuit board to reduce the dimensions of the structure;
  • varistor for protection against peak voltages in the power supply network;
  • manual lock reset;
  • operating temperature range: -20...+85 °C;
  • dust/moisture protection according to IP 00 standard (implemented during installation);
  • simple installation and connection;
  • fixing in any position.

Combustion managers of the NDM series switch to standby mode when the voltage in the network drops below 175V, stopping the burner operation. They start automatically after network parameters are normalized.

Application

Brahma NDM burner automatics are used in fan burners burning gas or liquid fuel. They ensure safe and efficient operation of heating boilers, combined and steam boilers, fireplaces, hot air generators, water heaters, furnaces and other industrial equipment.
