Description
CIB Unigas QRI2B2.B180B1 flame detector, art: 2510027 provides continuous flame monitoring when operating a gas or liquid fuel burner of any capacity, functioning in a continuous or intermittent cycle. It is connected to the combustion manager to transmit signals about flame detection. The principle of operation is based on the registration of infrared radiation.
Characteristics and features:
- detection of infrared flame radiation;
- side visibility;
- high sensitivity (installation behind a reflective plate);
- built-in signal amplifier;
- insensitivity to ignition spark and other external light interference;
- compatibility with burners with repeated-short and continuous cycles;
- completion with a rubber seal for vibration-proof, reliable fixation;
- ease of installation and connection;
- length of the stationary power cable – 180 mm;
- degree of protection against dust and moisture – IP54.
More about the sensor
The sensor is assembled in a compact plastic case 75.5 mm long with an integrated flame signal amplifier. The photocell, which responds to infrared flame radiation, is protected from external influences and temperature changes. Lenses are installed in a dustproof position. A three-core cable is attached to the case for connection to the automation unit. The sensor is compatible with the LMV5 burner automatic. Reliable fixation to the burner is carried out using a flange and clamp.
Operating conditions
The flame sensor is designed to operate in ambient temperature conditions of -20...+60 ºC and relative humidity < 95%. Condensation, icing of the sensor body, and water ingress are not allowed.
