Description
The Cofi TRS820P/11 ignition transformer converts the incoming mains voltage to a high voltage of 8 kV, necessary to supply the ignition electrode and ignite the flammable mixture with a powerful electric spark. It is built into the ignition unit of a gas or liquid fuel burner. The compact dimensions of the design allow the transformer to be used to equip equipment from different manufacturers. In terms of its characteristics, the device is not inferior to larger analogues.
Design
The Cofi TRS transformer is equipped with a housing made of impact-resistant, heat-resistant plastic. It is made of high-quality materials in accordance with CEI EN 61558-2-3. The wire used for the secondary circuit winding corresponds to class H (withstands +180°C).
Insulation between layers in high-voltage coils is provided by polyester film with high dielectric permeability. The use of epoxy resin, resistant to heating above +180°C, guarantees high mechanical strength combined with excellent dielectric properties, resistance to the composition of fuel oil and
chemical reagents, very good heat dissipation and elimination of harmful volatile substances from the production cycle. The materials ensure surface cleanliness comparable to metal.
The design is not protected against dust and moisture penetration, IP 00 class. There is one outlet for connecting the ignition electrode cable. Mounting is carried out using screw fastening.
TRS series ignition transformers are manufactured in accordance with safety and reliability standards, and have been tested at the factory.
