Description
The Cofi TRS820PISO3 ignition transformer is used in gas and liquid fuel boilers for fast and quiet ignition of the burner by electric discharge. It increases the current from 230 V to 8 kV, which is supplied through a high-voltage cable to the ignition electrode. Design with one high voltage output. The transformer is manufactured according to European standards of safety and reliability. Special insulation is used for uninterrupted operation in conditions of temperature and voltage fluctuations.
Design
The Cofi TRS transformer is distinguished by its compact dimensions, which allows it to be used in burners from most manufacturers. The housing is made of plastic resistant to high temperatures and mechanical influences. Dust and moisture protection is not implemented, IP 00 class. The design provides one connector for connecting a high-voltage cable.
High-quality materials were used in the manufacture of the device in accordance with CEI EN 61558-2-3. The wire used for winding the secondary circuit corresponds to class H (designed for heating up to +180°C).
Insulation between layers in the high-voltage coil is provided by a polyester film with high dielectric permeability. The use of a special epoxy resin resistant to heating from +180°C provides high mechanical strength combined with excellent dielectric properties. The materials used provide a surface cleanliness comparable to metal.
