Description

Dungs DMV-D 520/11 Dual Electromagnetic Valve, art. 221924:

  • Fast opening, fast closing;
  • Main flow rate adjustment;
  • End switch installation is possible on the valve axis V1 and V2;
  • Max. excess gas pressure 500 mbar;
  • Valve seal made of NBR;
  • Threaded connection Rp 2";
  • Electrical connection via cable socket;
  • Electrical protection class IP 54.

The Dungs DMV-D 520/11 dual electromagnetic valve is used for automatic control of the gas supply process and to increase the safety of gas equipment. It is designed for equipping gas burners, gas piston units and is widely used in the reconstruction of old-style gas boilers. The compact valve consumes a small amount of electricity, is characterized by fast response and increased throughput.

Key parameters

  • Maximum pressure: 500 mbar.
  • Class “A”, 2nd group according to EN 161.
  • Working medium: gas class 1-3/neutral.
  • Air temperature: from -15 to +60 °C.
  • Connection – threaded Rp 2 inches.
  • Flow rate at a pressure drop of Dp=10 mbar: 110 m3/h.
  • Power supply parameters: 24-240 Volts.

Versions of Dungs DMV-D 520/11

The valve is available in 4 modifications, differing in the seal material and power supply parameters: 220-240 V, NBR (art. 221924), 220-240 V, Viton (art. 242076), 110-120 V, NBR (art. 222823), 24-28 V, NBR (art. 222825).

Device and features

The Dungs DMV-D 520/11 dual electromagnetic valve includes two single-stage shut-off valves, closed in the de-energized circuit. The closing and opening of the valves occurs in less than 1 second. The double seat increases the throughput of the device.

To clean the incoming flow from contaminants, a metal mesh insert with a cell size of 1 mm is mounted at the valve inlet. Installing a separate gas filter in the supply line allows you to maximize protection of the valve and subsequent gas system elements from failures and premature breakdowns.

The material used in the manufacture of the valve is aluminum and steel. The housing does not contain non-ferrous metals. The seal is made of NBR or Viton. The housing has good insulation from splashes and dust - the electrical protection class meets the IP 54 standard.

An adjustable gas flow throttle is provided. With its help, you can adjust the main flow. Adjustment is made on the inlet valve. An indication of the closed position is provided. On additional request, an end switch can be installed (on the valve axis V1 and V2).

The housing provides holes for mounting other devices. The discharge flange allows connecting a gas safety pipe or a burner pilot line to the inter-valve space.

A cable socket is used for electrical connection. The product is mounted on a horizontal or vertical gas pipeline. Thanks to the threaded connection, installation does not take much time and requires no special tools.

Advantages:

  • automatic gas supply control;
  • fast closing and opening;
  • main flow rate adjustment;
  • metal filter for screening out coarse impurities;
  • low energy consumption;
  • increased throughput;
  • possibility of connecting various devices;
  • hermetic spring housing (degree of protection of electrical parts IP 54);
  • placement in any spatial position.
