Description
The Dungs MVD 507/5 single-stage solenoid valve, art: 262555, is designed for use in automatic gas supply systems for combustion. It hermetically and quickly shuts off the flow, ensuring the safe operation of the heating unit. It is designed for a pressure of 500 mbar.
Key parameters
The gas solenoid valve is a fast-acting shut-off device of the normally closed type for burners with a single-stage operating principle. It complies with class A group 2 according to EN 161. It reliably seals the flow, quickly closes and opens the gas supply (response time <1 sec.). Applicable for gases of families I-III, air, and neutral media.
Design and parameters:
- construction from wear-resistant, hydrocarbon-resistant materials: aluminum, brass, thermoplastic and stainless steel;
- seat seals made of NBR rubber, which is not destroyed upon contact with gases and operation in low temperature conditions;
- noiseless control coil;
- housing protection against dust and splashing according to IP 54 standard (a more hermetic IP 65 version is available upon request);
- reliable fastening with a Rp 3/4" threaded connection;
- for gas installations with a pressure of no more than 500 mbar;
- effective protection against radio interference;
- stainless steel gas inlet strainer, orifice size 1 mm;
- compact housing dimensions, facilitating installation;
- installation with the magnet positioned horizontally or vertically;
- operating temperature range: -15...+60 °C.
