Description
The Dungs VPS 504 S04 110V / 50Hz leak control unit, art: 221327 ensures the safe and reliable operation of gas-burning equipment. It monitors the gas supply system for leaks, preventing leaks and emergency situations. Manufactured to EN1643 standards. The compact size of the unit saves working space.
Features and main parameters:
- operation from a 110 V power grid, -15%, +10%, 50 Hz;
- for control of e/m shut-off valves of class A and B according to EN 161;
- control volume: from 0.1 to 4 l;
- does not require additional configuration;
- for industrial gas equipment with a pressure in the gas pipeline up to 500 mbar;
- short test time: from 10 to 26 sec. (depending on the controlled volume and input pressure);
- signal lamp indicating the tightness/leakage of the system;
- leak tightness control by pressurizing the space between the valves;
- external failure indicator;
- degree of protection of electrical components against dust/splashes according to IP 54 standard;
- operating temperature range: -15...+60 °C;
- ergonomic housing made of impact-resistant material;
- mounting with 4 screws on the valve body;
- installation in a vertical, horizontal orientation, excluding inverted;
- electrical connection via screw terminals, PG 13.5 cable gland.
Working environment
Dungs is suitable for working with gases of family 1-3, gas obtained during wastewater treatment, as well as during the processing of organic waste, biogas (dry, H2S< 0.1% by volume). Leak control units cannot be used for gaseous media containing more than 60% butane.
Advantages:
- compact size to save working space;
- thoughtful ergonomics, easy installation and connection;
- impact-resistant housing material;
- indication of operation and locking;
- short check time;
- simple installation and connection.
Application
The VPS leak control unit is designed to check multifunctional e/m valves DMV and universal gas blocks. Other applications are possible (see instruction). The check is performed before start-up, during pre-purging or after the burner is switched off.
