Ecoflam VGD20.5011 gas electromagnetic valve

The Ecoflam VGD20.5011 gas electromagnetic valve is integrated into safety and automatic gas flow control systems. It is used in industrial gas installations with a pressure of up to 600 mbar. It is compatible with any SKP actuators, providing a shut-off or regulating (with flow shut-off) function.

Device

The combined device includes two normally closed safety shut-off electromagnetic valves, class A, group 2 according to EN161. Patented seats are closed by two high wear-resistant springs.

The valve body is cast from aluminum, corrosion-resistant, and designed for low-temperature operating conditions. Incoming gas is cleaned of foreign impurities and dirt particles of 0.9 mm or more by a built-in stainless steel mesh filter, which prevents damage to the seats, disks and subsequent gas automation devices.

Features of the double valve VGD20.5011:

• class A, group 2 according to EN161 of normally closed electromagnetic valves;
• slow opening, fast closing (maximum time 4-6 sec.) in conjunction with SKP;
• application in industrial systems consuming gas of the I..III family;
• high throughput;
• for industrial installations with a pressure in the gas pipeline up to 600 mbar;
• possibility of mounting/replacing the SKP actuator with the valve under pressure;
• reliable mounting in the system using DN 50 flanges;
• installation in any position, provided that the flow direction and the arrow on the body are aligned.

Application

Ecoflam VGD gas valves are used for forced-air burners, heat generators, gas-consuming units.

Operating conditions

VGD gas electromagnetic valves are designed for air temperatures of -10...+60 °C. Condensation, icing, and water ingress into the housing are not allowed. When placing the valve in places with an aggressive environmental impact, the manufacturer recommends coating the housing with a protective compound to prevent metal corrosion.
