Description
The Elco MVDLE 215 gas solenoid valve, art: 65323578 – is an automatic shut-off device for automated control of gas flows. It hermetically and quickly shuts off the flow, limiting the gas supply when an industrial burner is operating. Suitable for gas-consuming installations with a pressure of up to 200 mbar.
Features of the Elco MVDLE valve
The gas solenoid valve is a normally closed Class A, Group 2 device according to EN 161, single-acting. It closes quickly (within < 1 sec.), opens slowly. The opening time is adjustable. Adjustment of the main gas flow is possible using a throttle.
Working medium and scope of application
Single-stage MVDLE solenoid valves are integrated into industrial installations using gases of the I-III family (natural, city, liquefied gas, only in gaseous form), air, neutral gases. They are used for automatic control and monitoring of flows, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Due to its compactness and universal connections, it is suitable for burners from most manufacturers, including Buderus, Lamborghini, Baltur, Elco, Wieshaupt, Cuenod, Ecoflam and others.
Main parameters:
- protection of the coil and electrical components against dust and splashing from any side according to IP54 standard (a version with IP 65 protection class is possible);
- installation in systems with pressure in the pipeline up to 200 mbar;
- reliable, hermetic installation using threaded connections;
- places on the housing for connecting pressure control devices;
- effective protection against radio interference;
- automatic flow shut-off in case of voltage loss, gas supply failures;
- electrical connection – via a plug-in connector according to EN 175301-803;
- position indication when installing a limit contact;
- operating temperature range: -15...+60 °C.
Elco MVDLE Design
Materials resistant to the composition of gases, corrosion, and wear were used in the manufacture of the gas solenoid valve: aluminum, stainless steel, brass, butadiene-nitrile rubber. Thanks to NBR-based seals, the shut-off device can be operated at negative ambient temperatures (down to -15 °C). The design allows for the installation of other Dungs devices.
The valve is equipped with a coarse filter made of stainless steel mesh with 1 mm openings. For maximum protection of the gas pipeline and automation devices, the manufacturer recommends installing a separate gas filter.
The Elco MVDLE gas valve is integrated into the system using threaded connections. Thread parameters at the inlet and outlet: Rp 1 1/2". Horizontal and vertical magnet placement is allowed.
