Elco QRB1A-A050B70A2 flame sensor

The Elco QRB1A-A050B70A2 flame sensor, art: 65320076 detects yellow flame in the visible spectrum of light when burning liquid fuel. Suitable for side and direct measurement. For connection to a burner control unit with a self-holding/short-cycle, the sensor is equipped with a thermoplastic cable.

Main characteristics and features:

• flame control using a normal sensitivity photoresistor;
• registration of direct and side illumination (90°);
• operation with a burner control unit; 
• degree of protection against dust/moisture – IP 40;
• 2-core cable 500 mm long for connection to the control unit;
• high level of core insulation;
• reliable protection of the photosensitive element from mechanical influences;
• tip, cable end stripping (removal of insulation);
• complete with a large flange and clamp for mounting to the burner;
• vibration-resistant mounting;
• permissible operating temperatures: -20...+60 °C.

Device 

The Elco QRB1A-A050B70A2 flame sensor is assembled in a small housing with a cable connected to it for connection to the burner control unit. Inside the housing, behind a protective glass, there is a sensitive photoresistive element. The device is securely fixed in the place of operation, taking into account maximum visibility of the flame.  

QRB... sensors are capable of registering parts of the spectrum from other objects (fireclay bricks, lighting fixtures in the boiler room, etc.), which requires taking standard safety measures when determining the location.
