The FBR DL 10A-3Z pressure switch, art: 172113 is used to equip automation devices of industrial furnace installations and ventilation systems with a medium pressure of up to 600 mbar. It monitors the supply / differential pressure of air, flue gases and other neutral gases. Reacts to extremely low pressure drops.
Installation location and purpose
The sensor-relay is an element of the automation system of furnace units. It is part of control devices for disc air dampers, fire dampers, and burner fans. It closes, opens, or switches contacts when set triggering parameters are reached.
The relay monitors the supply, differential pressure of air, exhaust gases and other non-aggressive gaseous medium. Not suitable for use with flammable gas.

The diaphragm-type sensor is made of materials with low gas permeability. Heat-treated in accordance with LSR-Membransystem standards. Assembled in a compact housing made of heat-resistant, reinforced PBT plastic. The sensitive membrane, which responds to pressure changes, is made of elastic, wear-resistant NBR rubber. Electrical components are protected against dust / moisture according to IP54 standard. Connection is made through an M16 cable gland.
Under the transparent cover there is a disc for adjusting parameters with a scale marking. The setpoint is set in the range: 1-10 mbar. Switching differential: 0.25-0.4 mbar. The design provides for the possibility of connecting pressure monitoring devices.
The sensor is equipped with a connecting tube for negative pressure, has a Rp 1/8 threaded connection for supplying negative pressure.

Operating temperatures and installation
The relay is designed to operate in a wide range of ambient temperatures, from -20 to +80 °C. It is not allowed to enter condensate inside the sensor to avoid freezing, damage and incorrect operation.
Mounting is carried out on a vertical (recommended) or horizontal pipeline. Installation on the outside down is allowed. When placed in other positions different from vertical, the switching point shifts.
