Description
The EPA-50 Ex 24V mobile fuel dispensing module is manufactured by the well-known Spanish company Gespasa. This fuel pump with fuel filtration is explosion-proof.
It is widely used for refueling light aviation vehicles (helicopters, airplanes). This versatile equipment - the pump works not only with aviation fuel AVGAS, but also with diesel fuel, gasoline, kerosene.
Model Features
- Additional fuel cleaning during pumping using a facet-type filter with a high degree of filtration (1 micron). The filter provides almost 100% water removal. Water separation significantly improves the quality characteristics of the fuel. The fine filter is specifically designed for aviation fuel and is equipped with a flow rate indicator. A filter contamination sensor allows for timely cleaning or replacement.
- The refueling unit can be used in areas where there is no 220V power supply (in remote areas from buildings and structures), as it operates from a 24V battery.
- The column is easily portable, weighing only 38 kg. Small dimensions provide compact storage. The module can easily fit on board any aircraft, allowing refueling in almost any location. The unit remains functional at temperatures from -30 to +45 degrees Celsius.
- High pump performance (44 l/min) makes refueling the vessel quick and convenient.
With a suction height of 3 meters, a delivery distance of up to 10 meters is achieved.
Safe use is guaranteed at temperatures from -30 to +45°C, the installation case is explosion-proof (EX class design), there is a grounding output.
Module Equipment
EPA-50 Ex 24V is an expensive, but very high-quality fuel pump with fuel filtration. The unit includes:
- Self-priming pump, pump type - vane, centrifugal. The installation can operate continuously for 30 minutes. For safe use, a bypass valve is built into the pump, which, with the gun closed and the engine running, recirculates fuel inside the pumping unit.
- Automatic gun PA-80, equipped with a swivel mechanism.
- Hoses for supply and suction. The length of each is 4 m, the diameter is 19 mm.
- Transport frame.
