Description
The Giuliani Anello 70301/006A fuel filter, art: 001.0052.003 is mounted in the supply line to clean the flow from mechanical particles of 100 μm or more. Designed for fuel pressure up to 2 bar. Made entirely of metal, which allows it to be operated at temperatures up to +90 ºС.
Filter composition
The main filter for diesel fuel and fuel oil consists of:
- a durable, corrosion-resistant body cast from aluminum under pressure;
- an aluminum cast head with Rp 3/8" threaded holes for installation in the system;
- a filtering element made of stainless steel;
- a sealing gasket made of butadiene-nitrile rubber.
Upon request, the filter is completed with a Viton seal, which will allow it to be used for cleaning biodiesel.
Features
The filter is used to equip systems with a maximum fuel pressure of 2 bar. Application for higher pressure is possible after conducting pressure tests exceeding the working pressure by 50% or more.
The maximum operating temperature of the filter is +90 ºС.
The filter can be mounted in any orientation, taking into account convenient access for inspection and maintenance, but it is preferable to install the flask vertically downwards to facilitate the separation of sediment and filtered deposits.
Filter maintenance
For reliable protection of liquid fuel equipment, it is necessary to regularly clean the filter from sediment and deposits. If there is a drain plug, it must be unscrewed and the sediment drained. Thorough cleaning requires disconnecting the flask and washing the filter insert.
