Description
The Giuliani Anello 70301/01A liquid fuel filter, art: 001.0052.004 is designed to clean fuel from mechanical particles and impurities that can clog the fuel line and reduce spray quality. The cast aluminum housing is designed for industrial loads. The filter is suitable for equipping diesel and fuel oil installations with a fuel pressure of up to 2 bar.
More about the filter
The Giuliani Anello fuel filter is highly reliable. The construction is entirely metallic. Cast from a corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy. It consists of a bowl and a head with Rp 3/8" threaded connections for mounting in the system.
Inside there is a filtering element in the form of a corrugated stainless steel mesh with a filtration area of 85 cm² and a cleaning capacity of 100 microns. The filter effectively removes particles of sand, rust, metal scale and other solid inclusions. Periodic cleaning of the filter element from sediment and contamination is required.
The aluminum and steel construction can be operated at temperatures up to +90 ºС. The seal for sealing the connection of the cap with the bowl is made of NBR rubber, which can be replaced with a Viton gasket for use with biodiesel.
The filter is designed for a maximum pressure of 2 bar. It is permissible to use for systems with higher pressure after the filter has been tested at a pressure exceeding the working pressure by at least 50%.
Application
The Giuliani Anello filter is installed in fuel oil and diesel burners. Upon request of the buyer, it is supplied in an execution for biodiesel.
Advantages:
- cast high-strength design;
- steel filtering element with corrugated mesh;
- effective removal of solid particles sized from 100 microns;
- resistance to high pressure and temperatures;
- hermetic threaded connection.
Installation in the system
The installation of the Giuliani Anello 70301/01A filter is allowed in any position. The manufacturer recommends installing the filter vertically with the bowl down, which simplifies the separation of sediment and deposits. When installing the filter, the arrow on the body must coincide with the direction of fuel flow.
