Description
The Giuliani Anello 70311/03P liquid fuel filter, art: 001.0073.005 is equipped with a transparent plastic bowl, which allows visual control of the degree of contamination. It removes particles of debris and sand from the passing flow, preventing them from entering the fuel line. It is used in the operation of industrial fuel oil installations with a pressure of up to 2 bar.

The fuel filter consists of:
- a bowl made of impact-resistant transparent plastic;
- a cast aluminum cover with Rp 3/8" threaded holes for integration into the system;
- a corrugated filter element;
- a seal made of butadiene-nitrile rubber.
A version with a Viton seal for working with biodiesel is possible (available upon request).
Features
The filter is designed for a fuel pressure of 2 bar. Use in industrial installations with higher pressure is possible, provided that the filter has successfully passed pressure tests at least 50% higher than the operating pressure.
The design with a plastic bowl is suitable for operation at temperatures up to +50 ºС.
The filter can be mounted in the system in any convenient position for inspection and maintenance. The recommended orientation is with the vertically positioned bowl directed downwards, which makes it easier to remove filtered sediment.
Application
The filter is used in liquid fuel equipment for cleaning diesel fuel and fuel oil from particles of sand, scale, debris, rust and foreign impurities. It can be supplied in a version for biodiesel (upon request).
Maintenance
The Giuliani Anello fuel filter requires regular cleaning of dirt and sediment. To remove contaminants, it is necessary to unscrew the drain plug located under the bowl (if available). For thorough cleaning, the bowl is removed, washed together with the filter element, and then the cartridge is blown with compressed air. Paper cartridges are subject to replacement.
