Description
The Giuliani Anello 70312/03A liquid fuel filter prevents coarse mechanical particles from entering the fuel line during operation of an industrial heating plant. It is designed for a fuel pressure of up to 2 bar.
Application
The Giuliani Anello filter is used to clean diesel fuel and fuel oil from sand, debris, rust and impurities. It can be supplied in a version for biodiesel (on request).
Design
The filter consists of:
- a die-cast aluminum bowl;
- a cast aluminum alloy cap with Rp ½" threaded holes for fixing;
- a galvanized steel filter element made of corrugated mesh with a cleaning area of 185 cm²;
- an NBR rubber seal.
It is possible to replace the seal with a Viton sealing gasket for use with biodiesel (on separate request).
The filter can be equipped with an electric heater and a temperature control device to maintain the liquid state of the fuel during periods of equipment downtime. Due to the heating, the paraffin contained in the fuel does not adhere to the filter element mesh, which facilitates burner start-up.
The line filter can be supplied with a transparent bowl for monitoring the degree of contamination.
Features
The filter is designed for a fuel pressure of 2 bar. Use in systems with higher pressure is possible, provided that the filter has passed pressure tests at least 50% exceeding the working pressure.
The aluminum and steel construction is suitable for operation at temperatures up to +90 ºС.
The filter can be placed in any convenient position for inspection and maintenance. Vertical placement of the bowl is recommended to facilitate cleaning of dirt.

Maintenance
The filter requires regular cleaning from deposits by washing and blowing compressed air through the filter element.
