Description
The Giuliani Anello 70504/03 liquid fuel filter, art: 001.0143.004, is used in industrial installations with liquid fuel pressure up to 2 bar. It does not allow solid particles larger than 300 μm into the system, preventing damage and interruptions in the operation of boiler equipment. The filter is equipped with a serviceable filter cartridge made of stainless steel.
Composition and materials of the filter
The Giuliani Anello fuel filter consists of:
- an aluminum cast body;
- a cast aluminum cover with Rp 2" threaded inlet-outlet for connection to the pipeline;
- a corrugated filter element made of galvanized steel;
- a sealing gasket of the cover made of butadiene-nitrile rubber.
For operation with biodiesel, a Viton seal is required (available upon request).
Features
The liquid fuel filter is designed for fuel pressure up to 2 bar. It is permissible to use for systems with higher working pressure after testing at a pressure exceeding the working pressure by 50% or more.
Due to the all-metal construction, the filter is suitable for operation at temperatures up to +90 ºС.
The filter can be installed in any position. It is preferable to place the filter so that the body is installed vertically (from below) to simplify the separation of sediment and deposits. The filter is installed taking into account the arrow on the housing, indicating the flow direction.
Filters of the 70500 series can be equipped with an electric heater and electronic temperature control to maintain optimal fuel viscosity during equipment downtime. Heating prevents the paraffin contained in the fuel from solidifying on the filter element, which simplifies the burner start-up.
Application
The Giuliani Anello 70504/03 filter is used for cleaning diesel fuel and fuel oil in industrial fuel oil installations. Removes sand, rust, metal scale, debris and other abrasive particles.
