Description
The Giuliani Anello FGD15 gas pressure regulator provides automatic regulation of the outlet pressure according to the setting, maintaining it at a set level regardless of the inlet pressure. Suitable for systems with a pressure in the gas pipeline up to 500 mbar. Complies with the European standard EN 88-1. Due to the cast high-strength housing, gas-tight gaskets, and safety membrane, it guarantees the safe operation of gas equipment.
Application
The Giuliani Anello FGD15 regulator is designed for installation in automatic gas/combined burners, gas distribution units, operating on natural, town, liquefied gas and other neutral gases.
Main parameters and features:
- outlet pressure (P2) adjustment in the range of 10-30 mbar;
- permissible gas pressure at the inlet: P2+ 5 mbar...500 mbar;
- execution of class A group 2 according to the European standard EN88-1 (not tested for shut-off);
- threaded connections Rp ½" for connection to the gas pipeline;
- mechanical strength according to EN 13611;
- operating temperature range: -15...+60 °C;
- mounting orientation – horizontal membrane arrangement.
Main structural elements of FGD15
The FGD pressure regulator is assembled in a cast housing made of aluminum alloy. A removable cast cover is located on top. Internal parts are made of materials resistant to the composition of gases and corrosion: aluminum, steel, brass, NBR rubber. A serviceable gas filter is located at the inlet, which does not allow mechanical particles and impurities to pass through. Measuring fittings are provided on the housing.
The regulator includes three membranes and seals made of gas-tight butadiene-nitrile rubber. The compensating membrane is responsible for stabilizing the inlet pressure, the working membrane regulates and maintains the pressure at the outlet of the regulator according to the spring setting, and the safety membrane is an additional safety device. It ensures the tightness of the gas line in case of damage to the working membrane (gas leakage in case of rupture of the working membrane does not exceed 70 dm3/h). Thanks to the safety membrane, the installation of a vent pipe is not required.
Installation, adjustment and maintenance of the regulator
The regulator is installed in the gas pipeline with the membrane in a horizontal position. Threaded flanges are used for connection to the pipeline. The arrow on the housing must point to the gas-consuming device.
A regulating screw is provided for setting the pressure parameters. Rotating clockwise increases the pressure, counterclockwise – decreases. Installation and pressure adjustment operations are performed by qualified personnel.
FGD pressure regulators do not require maintenance. During operation, it is only necessary to clean the filter from dirt, simultaneously replacing the filter cover gasket.
