Description
The Giuliani Anello FGD32 gas pressure regulator, art: 009.0023.101 is used for accurate automatic regulation of the outlet pressure and maintaining it at a set level regardless of changes in the gas supply system pressure. Thanks to the cast construction, gas-tight seals, and the inclusion of a safety membrane, it contributes to the safe operation of the gas installation and prevents leaks. It is used for assembling industrial gas equipment with a pressure in the gas distribution network up to 200 mbar. Complies with European standard EN 88-1.
Application
The Giuliani Anello FGD32 regulator is integrated into automatic gas/combined burners, gas distribution units using natural, city, liquefied gas and other neutral gases.
Main characteristics and features:
- equipped with a neutral spring with a working range (P2) of 10-25 mbar;
- permissible gas inlet pressure: P2 + 5 mbar…200 mbar;
- Class A group 2 according to EN88-1 standard (not tested for shut-off);
- mounting in the gas pipeline using threaded holes Rp 1 1/4";
- mechanical strength according to EN 13611;
- permissible operating temperatures: -15...+60 °C;
- installation position – horizontal membrane placement.
Main structural elements of FGD32
The FGD pressure regulator is assembled in a corrosion-resistant aluminum body cast under pressure. On top there is a removable cover providing access to the settings. Internal parts are made of durable, corrosion-resistant materials: aluminum, steel, brass, NBR rubber. An inlet filter of a serviceable design is installed, which does not allow solid particles and impurities to pass through. There are fittings on the body for controlling the pressure.
The regulator is equipped with three membranes and seals made of gas-tight rubber. The compensating membrane stabilizes the inlet pressure, the working membrane maintains the outlet pressure at a set level, and the safety membrane ensures the tightness of the gas line in case of damage to the working membrane (the leakage rate will not exceed 70 dm3/h). Thanks to the built-in safety membrane, there is no need to install a discharge pipe.
FGD pressure regulators do not require additional maintenance. During operation, it is only necessary to remove contaminants from the filter. After cleaning, the filter cover gasket is replaced. Membrane replacement is carried out with the frequency established by the manufacturer.
Installation and adjustment of the regulator
The regulator is mounted in the gas pipeline with a horizontal arrangement of the membrane. Threaded flanges are used for connection to the pipe. For correct installation, the arrow on the body should be directed towards the burner.
The outlet pressure is set by turning the adjusting screw (clockwise increases the pressure, counterclockwise – decreases it). All installation operations and pressure adjustment are performed by qualified personnel.
