Honeywell A4021A1010, 115 V Leakage Control Unit – a self-checking microprocessor-based Valve Proof System (VPS). It is responsible for testing the tightness of automatic shut-off valves by measuring the pressure drop between two valves during the test. Control is carried out before start-up or when the burner is shut down.

Honeywell A4021A1010 measures the pressure in the gas pipeline between the first and second shut-off valves. For the proper operation of the leakage control system, a sufficient gas pressure level in the pipeline is required. To perform the test, the inter-valve space is filled with gas. If a leak is detected, the system prevents the burner from starting up, enters a lock-out mode, and signals an emergency.
The leakage control unit is suitable for operation with single combined solenoid valves with or without a pilot valve.
