Description
The Madas PS-KIPA-500 pressure switch is designed to control differential pressure in ventilation systems, boilers, air conditioning systems, equipment burning gas from families 1, 2, 3, and other neutral gaseous environments. The maximum pressure in the system is 600 mbar. An adjustable switching differential is provided: from 0 to 2.5 mbar.
Design and Features
The switch is equipped with a compact metal housing incorporating a measuring port. The housing is made of cast aluminum, the switch – of polyamide, the diaphragm – NBR. The closing contacts are made of Ag.
The device is designed to operate at an ambient temperature of -15 to +70 degrees. The dust and moisture protection of the housing complies with IP 54 standard.
The switch is installed vertically, horizontally, or in an intermediate position. Installation features are reflected in the instructions. A three-phase connector for the socket is used for electrical connection.
The pressure supply line is connected using an internal thread with a diameter of 1/4 inch. The switching point is set using an adjustment wheel with a scale.
The Madas PS-KIPA-500 pressure switch is characterized by a short response time. The switch responds to overpressure. When the set pressure value increases or decreases, the electrical circuit is closed/opened.
