The Piusi filter 150 l/min F00611A10 filter with water separation function, due to its high flow rate, is one of the most sought-after for installation on high-performance diesel and gasoline dispensing systems.
Purpose
This filter serves for fine cleaning of fuel from various kinds of solid impurities and corrosion products. In addition, it separates and absorbs water. Such cleaning guarantees that only high-quality fuel enters the tank of the refueled equipment. And this, in turn, ensures the reliability and efficiency of the equipment.
Filter equipment and installation
The Piusi filter package includes a cartridge in a metal housing and an adapter necessary for its installation in the refueling module fuel system. The adapter has inlet and outlet openings with a 1” internal thread and flanges. It is recommended to mount it in the delivery line of the fuel-dispensing unit. Both threaded and flanged connections can be used for installation.
Installation and cartridge replacement are very simple operations. In this case, a threaded connection is also used. The cartridge simply screws onto the adapter. No dismantling of fuel system elements is required.
Operating parameters
This filter not only absorbs water from gasoline and diesel fuel, but also removes any solid particles from it, providing a filtration degree of 30 microns. It is characterized by a very high flow rate of 150 l/min, which allows it to be used on fuel dispensing columns of almost any performance.
As water accumulates in the cartridge, its flow rate decreases, which leads to a decrease in the performance of the fuel-dispensing unit. If there is a significant drop in pressure at the outlet of the column, the filter should be replaced.
To extend the effective operating time of the cartridge, it is recommended to install a coarse filter in front of it for pre-cleaning the fuel.
