Description
The DRUM EX50 12V DC ATEX refueling unit in an open housing with an automatic nozzle is used as a mobile fuel truck for refueling various equipment and vehicles, as well as for pumping flammable liquids directly from 200-liter barrels. It cannot be operated for more than 30 minutes without a break of at least 1 hour. It provides a fuel dispensing rate of up to 50 l/min. It is powered by a DC 12-volt engine installed directly in the pump housing.
The basic kit includes:
- a self-priming vane pump in a cast iron housing, has a built-in bypass valve to protect the system in case of a short-term (2-3 min.) interruption of flow;
- a fuel dispensing nozzle with an automatic shut-off and swivel mechanism;
- a telescopic suction tube, providing a suction height of up to 3 m;
- a fuel dispensing hose of 4 m;
- a check valve;
- a fine filter;
- a 2” barrel adapter with a built-in coarse filter.
The main advantages of this dispensing module
- relatively low cost for equipment of this class;
- possibility of use in the absence of an electricity grid;
- flange mounting of all components, which allows for quick replacement and installation of equipment without the use of sealant;
- reliability of design and ease of operation.
Possible application area
This gasoline fuel pump does not require connection to the electrical network, therefore it can be used in remote and hard-to-reach production facilities for pumping and dispensing any flammable fuel, except aviation fuel. It is well suited for refueling both agricultural machinery in the field and road vehicles at construction sites or heavy equipment during road works.
