Description
The Piusi DRUM EX50 12V DC K33 ATEX pumping unit with an automatic fuel nozzle can be used as a mobile fuel truck for pumping fuel and refueling equipment, vehicles, and special equipment with gasoline and diesel from 200-liter drums and tanks.
This refueling column cannot be used for aviation fuel and gasoline-alcohol mixtures if the alcohol content in them exceeds 15%. This unit has a sufficiently high flow rate (up to 50 l/min), but can operate without interruption for no more than half an hour, after which a 60-minute break is required to cool the engine. DC engine powered by a 12 volt battery.
Design features of the refueling complex
The self-priming centrifugal electric pump is mounted with the engine in a cast-iron explosion-proof housing. Equipped with a thermal overload protection device. When it is activated, the pump must be immediately turned off until it is completely cooled. It has a built-in bypass that protects the system from damage when the fuel tap is closed (operating time – 3 min. maximum). The delivery set also includes the following devices:
- fuel nozzle with automatic shut-off and swivel mechanism;
- fuel nozzle holder;
- mechanical fuel meter with two scales for accounting for single and total consumption;
- telescopic suction pipe;
- pressure hose;
- check valve;
- 2” drum adapter with coarse filter;
- fine filter with water absorption.
