Description
Riello ignition electrode, art: 3006705 is used in the fuel ignition system. It provides the creation of a high-voltage spark that ignites the prepared gas-air mixture. Manufactured in accordance with electrical safety standards in force in Europe.
Main elements of the ignition electrode:
current-conducting alloy resistant to high temperatures and corrosion;
rod size: Ø1.9x7.2 mm;
fixed insulation Ø10x160 mm made of heat-resistant ceramics with significant electrical and mechanical strength;
movable ceramic insulation size Ø2.9x50 / 32 mm.
Ceramics provides effective protection of the conductor from external influences, prevents current leakage.
Operating principle
When the ignition transformer generates high-voltage, the electrode produces a powerful spark discharge that ignites the gas-air mixture.
Advantages:
instantaneous spark ignition when power is supplied;
movable and fixed insulation made of heat-resistant ceramics;
easy installation, cleaning and replacement.
Application
The ignition electrode is built into the ignition unit of the Riello 40 FS8 gas burner.
