Riello RLS 160/M MX TC FS1 gas-oil burner

Burner with a combined gas/diesel fuel combustion system for industrial boiler plants. Essential for equipping facilities with intermittent supply of the main fuel type. Allows to organize a continuous heat supply process, generating up to 1840 kW of thermal power. Precise microprocessor control contributes to achieving maximum combustion efficiency and safe operation. A special design of the mixing device ensures low nitrogen oxide emissions.

Working environment

The Riello RLS 160/M MX TC FS1 gas-diesel burner, art: 20205611, is used for the alternating combustion of natural gas and diesel fuel with a maximum viscosity of 6 mm2/s at +20°C.

High level of environmental friendliness

The burner is equipped with a mixing device of special design. In terms of nitrogen oxide emissions, it corresponds to class 2 according to EN 267 when burning diesel fuel, and class 3 according to EN 676 when operating on gas.

More about the combined burner

• The Riello RLS combined burner operates in progressive or modulating (when equipped with an electronic regulator and temperature/pressure sensor) mode when burning gas, and in a two-stage (low/high combustion) mode when consuming diesel fuel. In modulation mode, the burner smoothly changes the power depending on the required amount of heat, therefore the regulated parameter (temperature or pressure) is maintained very accurately.
• Air for combustion is supplied by a powerful fan. Due to efficient forced draft, the burner is suitable for equipping boilers with low and high back pressure in the furnace. Maximum air temperature for combustion: +60 °C.
• Heat losses during burner shutdown are minimized. The air damper closes automatically, preventing cold air from entering and rapid cooling of the heat generator.
• The burner is assembled in a compact ergonomic housing. Low noise levels are ensured by the design of the ventilation circuit with internal sound-absorbing cladding.
• The combined burner operates from a combustion manager. Electrical equipment is protected from dust and moisture according to IP44 standard.
• The design is developed taking into account convenient access to the main components requiring maintenance.
• RLS/M MX gas-diesel burners are compatible with gas ramps of the MB and VGD series. The selection of the ramp is carried out taking into account the incoming gas pressure. Nozzles are not included in the standard package. Purchased separately.

Area of application

The Riello RLS combined burner is integrated into boilers and heat generators that meet the standards EN303, EN267 and EN676. It is in demand for equipping water heaters, heating units, and furnace equipment with a capacity of up to 1472 kW.
