Description
The Siemens QRA4.U flame sensor is used to detect flame and check the ignition spark when operating gas and oil burners. It reacts to the ultraviolet radiation of the flame. It connects to the boiler automation with a continuous operating mode.
Design and features
The sensor is equipped with an aluminum housing with a 1.8 m cable attached for connection to the control unit. It can be placed on the burner or boiler. A connecting thread is provided for mounting the device. The dust and moisture protection level complies with the IP 54 standard.
The device is designed to operate in temperatures from -20...+60 degrees. It will last 10000 hours (at t less than +50 °C).
The detector does not recognize radiation from the heated brick of the combustion chamber, and does not react to daylight.
