Siemens QRB1B-A050B70A2 flame sensor
Alternative Part Number
Description
The Siemens QRB1B-A050B70A2 flame sensor is used in conjunction with an automation unit to monitor the combustion of a liquid fuel burner. It registers the radiation of a yellow-burning flame in the visible light spectrum. It is characterized by high sensitivity, a wide field of view, and compact housing dimensions. It is equipped with mounting accessories.
More about the flame sensor
The Siemens QRB1 sensor is compatible with LAL/ LOA/ LMO/ LMV burner automation. It transmits electrical signals to the control unit about the detection of a flame.
The device is assembled in a compact 50 mm long housing to which a two-core 500 mm cable with PVC electrical protection (sheath diameter 5.1 mm) is connected. The free end of the wire is connected to the burner control. The element that reacts to flame radiation is a high-sensitivity photoresistor. Reliable vibration-resistant mounting of the sensor is carried out using a flange included in the supply scope. Due to the guide groove on the flange and the cam stop on the clamp, the sensor is accurately positioned relative to the flame.
Features and characteristics:
- high sensitivity;
- front and side flame visibility;
- light-sensitive element – photoresistor;
- degree of protection of the housing from dust and moisture – IP 40;
- installation position – arbitrary;
- use in liquid fuel burners with an intermittent operating cycle;
- maintenance-free;
- completeness with a clamp, large flange 424116000, lock 418610960, bracket;
- accurate positioning relative to the flame due to the flange mounting method;
- compact detector size, facilitating installation in any burner.
Important!
Flame sensors for Siemens QRB1 burners register a partial spectrum of light from foreign objects (lighting fixtures in the boiler room, refractory brick, sunlight, etc.). Therefore, when choosing a place to install the device, it is necessary to exclude the incidence of radiation from other sources on the sensitive element.
Operating conditions
The flame sensor is designed to operate at temperatures from -20...+60 ºC and relative humidity of no more than 95%. Condensation, icing, and water ingress on the housing are not allowed.
