Description
The Siemens QRB4A-B050B70 flame sensor is a detection device with a normal sensitivity level. It is used in safety systems for liquid fuel burners to monitor yellow flames in the visible light range and transmit signals to the control unit. It is also capable of taking into account parts of the spectrum from extraneous light sources, which requires the use of standard protective measures.
Design and комплектация
The photosensitive element of the Siemens QRB4 sensor is placed in a small housing with a permanently connected power cable. The cable end is stripped and a tip is provided. The conductive copper strands are insulated with thermoplastic sheathing (PVC). The QRB4A-B050B70 flame sensor is supplied without mounting accessories for the burner.
Features and main parameters:
- normal sensitivity of the photoelement;
- visibility: side (90°) and frontal;
- for LMO/ LMV2/ LMV3 automatons, on request LME7/ LME8;
- installation in burners with a repeat-short-term operating mode;
- enhanced dust and moisture protection of the housing, class IP 54;
- length of the power cable – 500 mm;
- operating temperature range: from -20 to +60 °C;
- installation in any position.
Installation of the flame sensor
All installation and maintenance work must be performed by a qualified specialist. When installing the sensor, it is important to exclude interference and signal loss. It should be taken into account that the photodiode may react to radiation from extraneous light sources.
Condensation, icing, and water ingress into the housing are prohibited during operation of the sensor. Otherwise, the risk of electric shock and failure/incorrect operation of the device increases.
Advantages:
- frontal and side illumination;
- optimal sensitivity;
- stationary cable with thermal insulation;
- housing with enhanced dust and moisture protection;
- ease of installation and connection;
- possibility of operation at sub-zero temperatures.
Our catalog also features flame sensors for burners with high, adjustable sensitivity levels. You can find out more about the characteristics of the equipment from ANKAS consultants.
