The Siemens QRB4A-B070B70 flame sensor is part of a flame combustion control system. It connects to the burner control unit to transmit electrical signals about the detection results. It takes into account the emission spectrum of yellow flame when burning liquid fuel.
More about the QRB4 flame sensor
The light-sensitive element of the QRB4 flame sensor is a built-in photodiode. The compact housing protects the photoresistor from dirt, shock and temperature effects. A stationary cable with two copper cores insulated with thermoplastic material (PVC) is connected to the housing. Mounting accessories are not included in the kit (purchased separately).

During operation, it is not permissible to freeze the sensor, form condensate, or allow water to get on the housing. Failure to comply with these precautions increases the risk of electric shock and damage to the device.
Attention! The QRB4 sensor detects extraneous sources of radiation (light from refractory bricks of the combustion chamber, solar radiation, lighting fixture in the boiler room, etc.). It is necessary to exclude light interference from reaching the device.
