Description

The Siemens QRC1A2.104C27 flame sensor responds to the ultraviolet radiation of blue and yellow flames during the combustion of gas and liquid fuels. Suitable for use in heating systems with intermittent operating mode. Sensitivity is medium.

The sensor is equipped with a plastic housing, fixed to the burner using a plug. The front has a protective glass that prevents the device from clogging and provides a seal. A stationary 3-core cable with PVC insulation is connected to the housing. 

The sensor contains an ultraviolet-sensitive diode with a plexiglass lens, as well as a signal preamplifier. The diode has medium light sensitivity, optimally covers the range of UV radiation of the flame. The lens focuses on the most active part of the light. The detector allows for short-term signal failures, which ensures stable operation of the burner with strong flame pulsations. 

Please note

The sensor takes into account extraneous light sources (radiation from heated refractory brick, daylight, artificial lighting, etc.). When installing the detector, it is necessary to exclude the ingress of ignition spark into the measurement area, as this will lead to an emergency shutdown of the system due to light interference.
