Description
The Siemens SQN72.4A4B20 actuator, art: S55454-D332-A100 is designed to control the position of the air damper when operating industrial burners. It changes the opening angle of the damper when receiving a signal from the burner controller during the preparation of the fuel-air mixture before combustion. The actuator characteristics are optimal for use in low and medium power systems.
Design
Siemens SQN72 is assembled in a compact housing made of plastic resistant to impact and temperature effects. Equipped with a gear transmission that does not require maintenance during operation. Electrical connection is made using detachable terminals. An internal position indicator, limit and auxiliary switches are provided.
The housing contains a synchronous motor with a disengageable gearbox, a distribution shaft of the control unit, and relays. The wear-resistant steel shaft can be disconnected from the gear transmission and the motor manually by pressing the clutch. The working unit is treated with a long-acting lubricant, so it does not require additional maintenance.
The IP 54 dust and moisture protection level ensures safe operation of the electric motor in most premises. Excludes the ingress of dust, solid particles larger than 1.0 mm and splashes directed from any side inside the device.
