Description
The Suntec J 7 PCC 1002 8P pump is designed for equipping liquid fuel burners with a capacity of 400-3000 kW. It pumps fuel to the nozzle under a pressure of up to 21 bar. Performance varies depending on the viscosity of petroleum products and the set pressure parameters (287 l/h at 5 cSt /12 bar). The pump is part of a series with a pressure regulating valve. There is no solenoid valve.
Operating characteristics and features:
- pumped medium – diesel fuel, medium-viscosity fuel;
- adjustment range of pumping parameters: 10-21 bar (default – 12 bar);
- for systems with an external electromagnetic valve with a shut-off function;
- output to the nozzle on the left;
- pressure regulating valve without locking;
- mesh with a working cleaning area of 97 cm² and a filtering capacity of 170 μm;
- connection holes for suction/return line with a diameter of 1/2 inch;
- standard flange mounting, ∅ 54 mm;
- simple adjustment of fuel pressure using a screw on the housing;
- highly reliable and wear-resistant design;
- resistance to elevated fuel temperatures, up to +90 ºC;
- any mounting orientation (avoid load on the axis);
- ports for measuring instruments used in system setup;
- automatic air venting in two-pipe installations;
- input pressure in the flow/return line – no more than 1.5 bar.
Pump design
In its factory configuration, the Suntec J 7 PCC 1002 8P pump is set for a 2-pipe connection. The bypass plug is installed in the drain hole for operation on two pipes. For a single-pipe connection, the plug should be unscrewed with a wrench and the channel closed.
The key mechanism responsible for sucking fuel from the tank and supplying it to the nozzle is a gear pair. To protect the gear pair, the fuel is freed from foreign impurities using a mesh disassemblable filter. The mesh must be regularly cleaned of accumulated dirt.
