Installation and construction
The filter is recommended to be installed in the suction line of the fuel transfer unit. This will extend the life of the pump and increase its efficiency. But if this is not possible for any reason, it can also be built into the discharge line.
An adapter included in the basic package is used to install the filter. The convenience of its installation in the pumping system is ensured by the presence of flanged and threaded connections.
Attention! The body of the Piusi Clear captor filter is a transparent flask with a special valve for removing accumulated sludge. The volume of the case is 0.7 liters. A filtering element is inserted into it, which must be replaced in case of severe contamination. You can visually control the degree of contamination.
The frequency of cartridge replacement depends heavily on the quality of the fuel being pumped. Therefore, in order to increase its working resource, it is desirable to install a filter in front of it, which performs a rough preliminary cleaning.
Note: an additional replaceable filter element is included in the basic package of the product.
