Description
The Filtroll diesel filtering unit is designed and manufactured by the Italian concern Piusi, famous for its innovative developments.
Application area
The Filtroll mobile filtering station is unique in its kind - it simultaneously performs the functions of a diesel fuel filter and a full-fledged refueling device. It is indispensable in conditions where diesel equipment has to be refueled directly from barrels or tanks with questionable cleanliness and the presence of condensate.
Device and комплектация
The mobile unit is assembled in a metal-plastic case, fixed on a tubular frame with a convenient handle and wheels. The station комплектация includes:
- a self-priming pump on 220 volts, with a capacity of 56 l/min;
- two filters with water separation function and a cleaning depth of 30 and 5 microns;
- suction hose with bottom mesh filter and check valve;
- delivery hose with a gun.
The control panel is equipped with a pressure gauge, signaling increased pressure about the limit degree of contamination of the filtering elements. A special valve is provided for removing sediment from the filter.
Principle of operation
The filtering station works as a triple filter for diesel fuel:
- the bottom filter of the suction hose prevents large particles of debris (more than 100 microns) from entering;
- the medium cleaning element removes water emulsion and particulate matter over 30 microns;
- the fine cleaning device completes the "cleaning", separating the smallest debris (5 microns) and the remains of water.
As a result: perfectly clean diesel fuel - the dream of every diesel engine operator!
